Welcome to this new month and for me the thrill that heralds a change in season. I love Autumn as much as I love Spring, because change and variety motivates and energises me. Having a park on my doorstep gives me ample opportunity to watch leaves on the beautiful trees transform from verdant green to muted hues of gold and bronze, mulberry and ochre.
Blackberries are still in abundance here and I will be stocking up my freezer over the weekend to ensure a plentiful supply for the weeks ahead.
The sun has been kind to us, indulging the coast with softness, warmth and a sense that summer hasn’t yet fully relinquished her grip, so since last Saturday I have enjoyed three early morning swims, which have set me up for the day. On the days when this is not possible I have had a cold shower. Dousing myself in cold water has become such a part of my daily routine that leaving a warm shower feels unnatural. Unless it’s the one taken just after a swim.
Although I often write from a reflective perspective, there is much to look forward to over the next two months: North Berwick Compassionate Community/ Truacanta attendance at International palliative care conference in Bruges, a stay over with a very dear friend and hopefully another chance to swim in Loch Lomond and my holiday let quietening down.
As my brain and body adjust to occupying more of my living space, Wee Dug has been quite discombobulated, not quite sure where to put herself, but she is learning that when all the doors remain open no guests are likely to appear.
I am in the process of updating my profile on Know You More and will be including the following keywords as identified by my clients:
Resilience
Distraction
Transition
Solution
Visualisation
When resilience has reached a low point, clients come to me to help reset their positive intentions which, in turn, improves wellbeing and the capacity to manage stressful flash points.
The majority of my clients are frustrated by distraction when considering career choice, especially in this unsettled political and economic climate. When you participate in coaching sessions with me, you will begin to let go of interference and instead focus on what is manageable, and achievable, regenerating your sense of purpose.
Transition can be tricky, especially when considering life or career change, whether you are looking for a promoted post or considering a complete change of career.
Change is hard, but when you engage in coaching conversations with an intuitive coach, like me, taking the first steps towards a desired outcome become manageable.
I am solution focused - I always have been and often wonder if I have missed a calling somewhere as a detective. I’m not suggesting I always have the answer, but I do like to consider all the options, throw them up, see what lands, and act accordingly. You will be encouraged to do the same.
I’m a firm believer in visualisation and if you can’t see where you want to be, I will work alongside you as you begin walking confidently towards your new horizon.
